TESCOM is Emerson's pressure control line: regulators and valves that hold a set pressure precisely, usually at pressures well above what a general-purpose regulator will handle. Emerson describes the line as precision flow and pressure control regulators and valves that can be customized to meet the needs of critical industries. Alongside the catalog products, TESCOM builds custom-engineered gas delivery systems and assemblies.

Pressure reducing regulators
Regulators that take a high, variable inlet pressure and hold a steady, lower outlet pressure.
Use it whenUse it when the thing downstream needs a stable supply pressure and the source is a bottle, a header, or a compressor that drifts -- this is the default TESCOM product and the one to start from unless you specifically need to control upstream pressure.
Back pressure regulators
Regulators that maintain upstream pressure, per Emerson's description, through on-device control, regulator control or remote operation.
Use it whenUse it when the pressure you care about is behind the valve -- holding a reactor, a test loop, or a sampling line at pressure while letting excess flow out. If you find yourself trying to make a reducing regulator do this, you want a back pressure model instead.
High purity regulators
Regulators Emerson describes as engineered to meet gas purity levels above standard regulation specifications.
Use it whenUse it when trace contamination or moisture pickup would corrupt the result -- labs, R and D benches, and analyzer feeds. Emerson names exactly those three as the common applications.
Hydrogen regulators
Two-stage pressure reducing regulators for hydrogen-powered vehicles and fueling, described by Emerson as simplifying maintenance and helping maximize hydrogen vehicle fuel efficiency through consistent flow and pressure control. The brand page lists the HV-7000 and HV-3500 Series.
Use it whenUse it for onboard hydrogen fuel delivery and dispensing, where two-stage reduction and hydrogen-specific materials matter. Do not substitute a general industrial gas regulator into hydrogen service.
TESCOM's valve side covers high-pressure shutoff and the small valves that live around an instrument.
High pressure valves
Manual valves built for the same high-pressure duty as the regulators, for isolation and shutoff in high-pressure systems.
Use it whenUse it when the isolation valve has to match the pressure class of a TESCOM regulator skid rather than being the weak point in it.
Instrumentation valves
Small valves Emerson describes as enabling isolation of instruments and systems and supporting calibration and testing procedures. Offered as gauge, hand, manifold, and primary root valves.
Use it whenUse it when you need to block in a gauge or transmitter to calibrate or replace it without shutting down the process -- pick gauge or hand valves for single-point isolation, a manifold when you need to equalize or block-and-bleed a differential instrument, and a primary root valve at the process tap.
Laboratory valves, VA and VG Series

Use it whenUse it on bench and gas-panel builds where the valve needs to match the regulator's cleanliness and pressure class. Confirm the exact model against Emerson's catalog before quoting.
Air-operated valves, VT Series

Use it whenUse it when a high-pressure line has to be opened or closed remotely or on an interlock rather than by hand.

ER5000 Series electropneumatic actuators
An electronic controller and actuator that drives a TESCOM dome-loaded regulator to an electrically commanded setpoint.
Use it whenUse it when the setpoint has to change during the run, be ramped on a profile, or be commanded from a controller or test stand -- not when a fixed hand-set pressure will do.
64 Series semiconductor pressure control

Use it whenUse it on fab gas distribution where semiconductor process requirements govern the selection. Verify the specific configuration with Emerson.
Pharmpure PH-1600 Series
