DelVal Flow Controls

Butterfly and ball valves, actuators, and valve automation.

ValvesWe distribute this line.

DelVal Flow Controls makes quarter-turn isolation valves and the automation to drive them: resilient-seated, lined, double-offset and triple-offset butterfly valves, floating and trunnion-mounted ball valves, and pneumatic and electric actuators with position feedback. The company describes itself as founded in 2005 with an ISO 9001-2015 quality system, and its pitch is a fully integrated valve-plus-actuator package with a 3-year warranty rather than a specialty niche.

What we carry, by measurement

Pick what you’re measuring.

Rubber-seated butterfly valves to API 609 and BS EN 593, tested to API 598 and BS EN 12266-1. This is the volume end of the line.

Series 50/52 Resilient Seated

The standard wafer (50) and lug (52) resilient-seated butterfly valve, 2 in. to 24 in., cast iron, ductile iron or carbon steel body, nylon-coated or Aroxy ductile iron or CF8M disc, EPDM, Buna-N, FKM or silicone seat. Series 5A and 5B are the alternate stem sizes. Carries NSF-61 and 372.

Use it whenuse it when you want general-service on-off or coarse throttling on water, slurry-free utility lines and low-pressure process. Class 125 to 175 psig in 2 in. to 12 in. and 150 psi in 14 in. to 24 in., with a 230 psig option. If the customer is on potable water, this is the NSF-listed choice.

Series 51/53 Large Diameter Resilient Seated

The large-bore resilient-seated valve, 26 in. to 40 in., 150 psig, wafer (51) or U-section wafer with lugs drilled not tapped (53).

Use it whenuse it when the line is bigger than 24 in. and still low pressure - intake, outfall, large cooling water headers. Above 24 in. the Series 50/52 stops, so this is the continuation, not an upgrade.

Series 56/57 Resilient Seated for Higher Pressures, Wafer and Lug

Resilient seat rated to 285 psig in 2 in. to 24 in. and 230 psig in 26 in. to 48 in., sizes 2 in. to 48 in., body in cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel or stainless.

Use it whenuse it when a rubber-seated butterfly is the right valve style but 150 psi is not enough - pump discharge, higher-head water systems, fire service pressures. Straight step up from Series 50/52 without moving to high-performance.

Series 58 Resilient Seated for Higher Pressures, Double Flanged

Same higher-pressure resilient-seat design in a double-flanged body, 2 in. to 48 in.

Use it whenuse it when the spec calls for a double-flanged body rather than wafer or lug - common on buried, large-diameter or municipal work where the valve must be removable without dropping the line.

Series 5C/5D Split Body Resilient Seated

Two-piece epoxy-coated body, one-piece thin-profile disc and stem in 316 or duplex stainless, elastomer-lined or Halar-coated disc options, Center-LOK peroxide-cured seat, 2 in. to 24 in., 150 psig. NSF-61 and 372 listed.

Use it whenuse it when the media attacks a standard disc and you want a lined or coated disc with a one-piece disc and stem - no disc screws or taper pins to work loose. Also the pick where an integral one-piece stem and disc matters for reliability.

Cross-references & replacements
