Endress+Hauser is one of the deepest lines we carry, and that depth is the problem for most buyers: the catalogue is enormous, several families overlap, and the difference between the right instrument and a nearly-right one usually only shows up months later in a failed measurement. So this is organised the way a spec actually gets written: pick what you're measuring.

Promag
Electromagnetic flowmeters for conductive liquids: no moving parts, nothing obstructing the bore. W, P, H and L variants differ by liner, electrode and hygienic construction.
Use it whenWater, wastewater, chemicals and slurries. The default for municipal water and for dirty service where anything mechanical would wear out.
Promass
Coriolis meters, measuring true mass flow and density directly rather than inferring them from volume.
Use it whenAccuracy is the spec (custody transfer, batching and dosing), or the fluid's density shifts with temperature and a volumetric reading would lie.
Prosonic Flow
Ultrasonic, inline and clamp-on. No pressure drop and no obstruction.
Use it whenYou're retrofitting a line that can't be cut or shut down. Clamp it on the outside of the existing pipe.
t-mass
Thermal mass flow for gases, giving mass flow directly without separate pressure and temperature compensation.
Use it whenCompressed air, nitrogen or natural gas. Especially compressed air, where separate P and T compensation is usually where the metering goes wrong.
Prowirl
Vortex meters for steam, gases and low-viscosity liquids.
Use it whenSteam service, or hot and high-pressure duty where a magmeter or Coriolis isn't an option.
Dosimag
Hygienic filling and dosing meters.
Use it whenFood, beverage or pharmaceutical batching where the meter has to be cleanable.
The workhorse of the line. Most plants have more Cerabar and Deltabar installed than anything else E+H makes.

Cerabar
Gauge and absolute pressure transmitters, in ceramic and metal-diaphragm versions.
Use it whenSpecify the ceramic cell for abrasive or corrosive media where a metal diaphragm wouldn't survive the year.
Deltabar
Differential pressure transmitters.
Use it whenNot just flow. It's how you measure level in a closed or pressurised tank, and how you see a filter blinding before it actually blinds.
Seven families, because level is the measurement with the most ways to go wrong. Foam, agitation, build-up and interface layers each rule out a different technology.

Liquiphant
Vibronic point-level switches, largely indifferent to density, coating and foam.
Use it whenHigh and low alarms, pump dry-run protection, overfill prevention. It survives where a float gets stuck.
Micropilot
Free-space radar for continuous level, non-contact.
Use it whenThe default for tanks and silos when you want no instrument in the product.
Levelflex
Guided-wave radar: a probe guides the signal instead of shooting it across open space.
Use it whenFree-space radar is struggling: narrow or agitated vessels, heavy foam. Also the answer for an interface, like an oil-water layer in a separator.
Waterpilot
Submersible hydrostatic level probes.
Use it whenWells, reservoirs and water tanks. Drop it in and read the head.
Deltapilot
Hydrostatic level with a ceramic cell.
Use it whenPastes and slurries that would clog or coat a conventional cell.
Prosonic
Ultrasonic level, non-contact.
Use it whenOpen channels, sumps and wet wells, at less cost than radar where the application allows it.
Nivector / Nivotester
Capacitance point level for bulk solids, plus the switch electronics for the point-level sensors.
Use it whenDry solids in a bin or silo where you only need a full or empty signal.
The part of the line that decides whether a water or process plant meets its permit.

Liquiline
Multi-channel transmitters and controllers: one platform takes pH, conductivity, oxygen and turbidity inputs.
Use it whenA panel needs several parameters and you don't want four different transmitters in it.
Memosens
The digital sensor connection. Non-galvanic, so moisture and long cable runs stop degrading the signal.
Use it whenGenuinely the reason to prefer this line for analysis: calibrate a sensor on the bench, plug it in wet, and swap a pre-calibrated spare in seconds.
Condumax / Indumax
Conductivity, both conductive and inductive.
Use it whenGo inductive for high-concentration acids and caustics that would attack electrodes.
Turbimax
Turbidity and solids content.
Use it whenDrinking-water compliance, and watching clarifier and filter performance.
Oxymax
Dissolved oxygen, optical and amperometric.
Use it whenAeration-basin control in wastewater, and fermentation.
pH / ORP sensors
Orbisint, Orbipore, Ceramax and Tophit, which differ by junction and diaphragm.
Use it whenMatching a sensor to a fouling or high-solids process, where a general-purpose pH probe would blind.
The measurement most often treated as an afterthought, until a thermowell fails from vibration.
iTHERM / iTEMP / Omnigrad
RTD and thermocouple assemblies, thermowells, and the transmitters that pair with them.
Use it whenInsertion length and wake frequency matter more than the sensor element. Bring us the line size, velocity and temperature and we'll do the calculation. This is a sizing conversation, not a part-number lookup.
